Notice of Opticlinic

Velanium organizes the II Velanium OptiClinic , orientated for those Optimist sailors who want to deepen in the boat and sail preparation and are interested in the optimization of speed, manoeuvres and tactic.

Venue

The Velanium OptiClinic and Regatta will be held through July 6th and July 13th in Sant Carles de la Ràpita (Taragona, Spain), a nice small village placed in the south of the Ebre Delta, in a large very well protected bay, which guarantees flat waters independently the strength the wind decides to blow.  In July the weather is quite warm, around 26ºC, and the see water has almost the same temperature, which assures a really pleasant navigation. The dominant wind is a trustable SW, which starts blowing at midday and stops with the sunset. Force 3-4 is the most usual. Have a look of the location by clicking here
