Velanium is proud to announce the III Velanium Trophy– - II Gran Premi la Ràpita Delta de l'Ebre, as part of the 29er and 29erXX Eurocups 2012, which will be held in Sant Carles de la Ràpita, February 17^th to 19^th.

Where is Sant Carles de la Ràpita?

A very nice Spanish town located approximately at 2,5 hours by car from the French border (which is accesible by highways except for the last 7 km), 140 km from Barcelona's El Prat airport (low cost companies)

It has an excellent regatta field located in the cente of a very closed bay in the Ebro delta. The sailing conditions are ideal with flat waters and very trustable winds. The temperatures in winter are about 12-17ºC and most of the days are clear and sunny. 

Sant Carles de la Ràpita can also offer a lot of interesting things to the people travelling with the sailors. The Ebro delta is a protected natural park with plenty of places that are enjoyable to visit. Trainings
Apart of the regatta, for those sailors who want to spend some days in Sant Carles de la Ràpita before or after the competition, we will organize trainings which will include some experimental races, in Speed Tests and Downhill Skiff Cross formats.
